Contact Allams of Epsom to get more information about the tyre requirements of your Vauxhall vehicle. We can help you identify the right tyres for each model, as well as tell you about things like PSI ratings.
Your tyres are the only parts of your car that physically touch the road, so it’s important they’re always in top condition. Your car’s safety systems will not be able to operate at their peak and you risk getting points on your licence (and a significant fine) if your tyres do not have at least 1.6mm of tread. Your motor insurance may be invalidated, and you’ll be putting yourself and other road users in significant danger.
Your tyres must:
Have at least 1.6mm of tread across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way around.
Be free of lumps, bulges or tears caused by failure of the tyre structure.
Be free of cuts or tears more than 25mm in length, or which expose the ply or cord.
Be of the same construction (radial or cross-ply) on both sides of each axle.
It is extremely important that you check your tyres on a regular basis. We will happily give your tyres a free health check and tell you when they’ll next need replacing, without obligation.
