The new Superb comes with a distinctive, octagonal radiator grille and sharply drawn LED Matrix beam headlights that deliver even more light than their predecessors and include the new Crystallinium design element. The LED Matrix beam headlights are available on the Superb for the first time. The optional LED rear lights with animated indicators feature a Coming/Leaving Home function (standard on L&K and Sportline). Other visual highlights include exterior details in Unique Dark Chrome, for example the logo on the bonnet and the lettering on the tailgate. The sleek-bodied Hatch offers a drag coefficient of cd 0.23, one of the best in the volume segment, while the Superb Combi estate is the most aerodynamic Škoda estate car ever, at cd 0.25. Compared to the predecessor, the drag coefficient has been reduced by 15 per cent for both body styles.
The interior of the Superb features a free-standing infotainment display measuring up to 13 inches and a clean centre console, as the selector lever has moved to the steering column. A head-up display is available as an option for the first time. The Škoda Smart Dials and the voice assistant Laura, complemented by ChatGPT, make light work of controlling numerous vehicle and infotainment functions, and providing information that goes beyond the car’s ecosystem. New elements include the ventilated Phone Box for inductive smartphone fast-charging at up to 15 watts, as well as back-friendly Ergo seats with ten pneumatically controlled massage cushions. The new range structure with Design Selections offers themed option packages and individual options. With a luggage capacity of 645 litres, the boot size of the Hatch has increased by 20 litres over the predecessor. The new Superb Combi estate can hold up to 690 litres.
The six modern, efficient powertrains also include a new-generation plug-in hybrid currently featured only in the Superb Combi iV. This will become available for the Hatch as well at a later date. The 1.5 TSI engine is combined with an electric motor and provides a system output of 150 kW (204 hp), offering an electric range of up to 120 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. Moreover, the 1.5 TSI is also available with mild-hybrid technology – a first for the Superb. In addition, there are also two other petrol engines as well as two diesel units on offer. Their respective top variants (195 kW/265 hp and 142 kW/193 hp) come with all‑wheel drive as standard. The latest‑generation Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC Plus), available on the Superb for the first time, blends comfort and driving dynamics.
Famous for providing exceptional space, the Superb will help you make the most of it, thanks to a host of innovative features that celebrate the beauty of functionality. The Jumbo Box is extremely handy for holding cups, as well as storing your gadgets, house keys and books. It is also home to a second USB port, now a standard feature with Superb.
With one of the best luggage capacities in its class, you’ll never have to compromise on what you pack. The Estate offers an impressive capacity of 660 litres, which extends to 1,950 litres with the rear seats folded down. That means ample room for all your business, pleasure and practical essentials. As an added touch, a spot of rain will never dampen your spirits again thanks to the umbrella located in the front door.
A car interior needs to be more than spacious and inviting, it needs to be intuitive too. Where everything is designed to enhance the drive. Whether that’s the position of the controls, the precision of the dashboard or the clever use of ambient lighting. Utilise the wireless charging functionality by simply placing your device face up in the phone box. The mobile device will automatically connect and start receiving power.
Put all the information you need right in front of your eyes with the customisable 10.25" digital display, which replaces the traditional instrument display and can be customised with four views (Classic, Basic, Extended and Modern). A fifth Sports view is available for SportLine Plus.
Authenticity, precision and purpose. The Superb’s design conveys each of these in style. The perfectly balanced exterior proportions, sporty silhouette and dynamic horizontal lines have been enhanced, complemented as ever by razor-sharp angles throughout. The electric panoramic sunroof provides extra sunlight and fresh air at the simple touch of a button.
Using a windscreen camera, the Full LED Matrix headlights of the SUPERB can detect a car in front of you or in oncoming traffic. Based on this, the high beam adjusts itself incrementally. This ensures you get the best view without blinding other drivers. The rear lights also feature C-shaped illumination, typical for the Škoda family, but updated with a modern twist.
